The Edinburgh Master Composter Project was established in 2004 and has trained many volunteers to help spread the home composting message throughout the city of Edinburgh. Volunteers attend various events with an information stand and undertake home visits to individuals and schools requiring advice. Where appropriate, they also provide high-quality home composting advice by telephone and email.
