The Swindon Compost Ambassadors group was set up in Nov 2007 and have very active 'core' team of volunteers. They meet monthly in a pub, attend all the major Swindon shows, festivals and school fetes and help local schools with their compost. The group won a Highly Commended award at the Swindon Quality of Life Awards. The group is co-ordinated and trained by Wiltshire Wildlife Trust with funding from Swindon Borough Council.
