The Isle of Man Master Composter Scheme started in September 2009. It proved to be very popular from the start with the first training programme consisting of 23 composting enthusiasts. Since training, the Master Composters have attended numerous events around the Island promoting home composting and working towards a Zero Waste Isle of Man.
