Master Composters
Herefordshire and Worcestershire Scheme
There are currently over 40 extremely active members of the Herefordshire & Worcestershire Master Composter Scheme. The scheme started in April 2006 and is run enthusiastically and efficiently by Viktoria Salisbury of Worcestershire County Council.
The activities the Master Composters have participated in have been as diverse as the scale of the events - Thirteen Master Composters helped out at the Three Counties Spring Show, while one Master Composter promoted composting at a local youth centre and another takes time to talk to his neighbours about composting when he seems them in front gardens.
