Welcome Aboard to New Shropshire Master Composters
Spreading theWord - Spreading Compost!

There are 14 new master Composters in Shropshire who are ready to get out there and spread the compost. A great two days training was had by all. The first days training took place at Shrewsbury’s Shire Hall and after an almost eventful coach trip, at an on site facility near Oswestry.

The second day’s training took place at Garden Organic and coincided with Pumpkin Day. A precedent was set by new Master Composter, Wendy, who brought in a fabulous cake for the group and in return was presented with lots of left overs from the pumpkin carving, for her goat!

There us now a good spread of Master Composters across Shropshire. The region is showing some great waste reduction figures, I think the two must be connected!
